Giovanna Vinciguerra - Contemporary Artist

Born in Catania, '88. Italy

A multidisciplinary artist, conceptual and abstract with a strong and direct visual language. She addresses social issues and explores the potential of art as a method to influence, raise awarenes and open perspectives in order to bring together different social realities.

Qualified with a 1st level Master’s degree in Relational Design at the Abadi, Academy of Design and Visual Arts of Sant’Agata Li Battiati (CT) and 1st and 2nd level Academic Diplomas in Visual Art at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania. She has taught Videosculpture and Videoinstallation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania and currently teaches sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Reggio Calabria.
